roaming Beyoglu

photos capture many things but i think Istanbul (in all its beauty, scale and frantic energy), is a city that truly can't be captured.  Istanbul has to be experienced.  yes, it has it's down side (like all metropolises) but there is such an energy here that makes you feel wonderful AND crazy at the same time.

i'm posting a few shots taken while walking through Beyoglu - a neighbourhood on the european shore known for its eclectic mix of vintage shops, antique shops and 'cool' cafes.
