what a weekend!  much of it was spent organising what turned out to be a lovely soiree darrrrrling!...

Gonul had been busy of late trying to organise the last details of her new cookbook...  and what a cookbook!  it's superbly designed and photographed - all the recipes are her own of course and what a cook this woman is... i just HAD to sample what was on offer (how could i resist?) ;)

and my oh my mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...i am still salivating from the taste of those yummy poached apricots!  i will post some pictures soon of the book and possibly a recipe or two...

so, to celebrate the release of the book, as well as to launch her new collection of hats, she held an event for her customers, media representatives and associates who were very lucky indeed to taste all of the food from her book... that's over 50 recipes! and over a week spent preparing for 200 guests pheeeeewwwww!!
