"Site UnSeen is a collaboration involving the City of Port Phillip, community organisations supporting homeless people, artists...plus people with first-hand experience of homelessness.
To be situated in the heart of St Kilda for several weeks in late 2011, visitors to the simulation will be immersed in the experience of homelessness via an interactive environment involving custom-built installations that will combine images, soundscapes, text and architectural design.
The installations will not only provide the audience with insight into the physical realities of sleeping out but also the emotional landscape of living with fear, prejudice and an uncertain future".
